12V cooling fans

12V cooling fans are used in the vehicle’s cooling system to create active airflow through the radiator, oil cooler or other heat-dissipating components in a 12 volt setup. They are especially relevant in vehicles and projects where stable cooling is needed at low speed, idle or under high heat load, and where the fan must be able to run directly from the vehicle’s 12V electrical system. This makes them suitable for standard vehicles, optimised road cars, motorsport cars and custom-built projects.

When the vehicle does not get enough airflow through the front, the 12V cooling fan is important for helping pull or push air through the radiator. This has a major effect on how efficiently heat can be removed from the coolant or other systems that require air cooling. It is also important to look at the interaction with brackets, shroud, relay, temperature control and the rest of the cooling system so the entire solution works correctly together.
