Cabin fans
Cabin fans are used in the vehicle’s ventilation and heating system to move air around the cabin and ensure that heat, fresh air or air conditioning is distributed correctly. They are a central part of comfort in the vehicle, because they affect temperature control, ventilation and demisting of the windows. Whether the vehicle is used for daily driving, longer journeys or custom projects, a properly functioning cabin fan is important to ensure that the climate in the cabin works as it should.
A cabin fan typically works together with the vehicle’s heater, air conditioning and ventilation ducts. When the system is in use, the fan pushes air through the system and onward to the desired areas in the vehicle. This applies both when heating the cabin, cooling with A/C and demisting the windscreen and side windows. If the cabin fan does not function correctly, it can result in poor air circulation, weak heating performance, insufficient cooling and slower demisting.
