Sway bars

Sway bars are an important part of the car’s suspension and are designed to reduce body roll in corners. When the car is subjected to lateral load during driving, the anti-roll bar helps distribute the load between the left and right side of the suspension, so the car feels more stable, more controlled and more precise in its response. This has a major impact on both handling, steering feel and the way the car behaves through corners.

Choosing a sway bar is not only about making the car stiffer. It is very much about finding the right balance between the front and rear axle so the car reacts the way you want it to. The right setup can help change the car’s handling characteristics significantly and make it better suited to the type of driving it is actually used for.
