Ignition leads
Ignition leads are an important part of the ignition system and play a major role in ensuring that the spark is transferred correctly from the ignition system or ignition coil to the spark plug. When the ignition leads work as they should, they contribute to stable engine operation, correct ignition, and more reliable driving. This applies both to normal road use and to more demanding setups for track day use, motorsport, and custom builds, where the load on the ignition system is often higher.
Choosing the right ignition leads is typically linked to the engine setup, required length, connector type, and the available space around the engine. In some projects, the goal is to replace worn cables and restore stable operation, while in other cases it is about building a more robust and well-finished ignition system that is better suited to higher loads or modified engine management. That is why ignition leads are relevant both as maintenance parts and as an important part of a well-thought-out engine setup.
