Cooling fan bracket
Cooling fan brackets are used for mounting cooling fans in the vehicle’s cooling system, where a stable and correct fixing of the fan in relation to the radiator, shroud or other mounting points is needed. They are an important part of the setup because the cooling fan itself only works optimally if it is positioned correctly and mounted securely. Whether the application is a standard replacement, tuning, motorsport, track day use or a custom build, the mounting has a major impact on both function and durability.
A cooling fan bracket is typically used in solutions where electric cooling fans are mounted on or around the radiator to ensure sufficient airflow at low speed, idle or under high heat load. This can be relevant in vehicles where the original fan solution has been removed, modified or no longer matches the rest of the setup. This is often seen with upgraded radiators, engine swaps, custom-built cooling systems or projects where space limitations require a different mounting solution than standard.
The choice of cooling fan bracket depends on factors such as fan type, size, radiator design and how the rest of the system is built. In some projects, simple universal brackets are used, while others require more tailored solutions to achieve the correct position and spacing. This is important because the fan’s position in relation to the radiator affects how efficiently air is pulled or pushed through the core. Poor mounting can lead to vibrations, uneven load or less effective cooling.
