Injector connectors

Injector connectors are used to connect fuel injectors safely and correctly in the vehicle’s wiring loom and are an important part of standard repairs, tuning projects, and motorsport. A good injector connector is important when you want to ensure stable contact to the injectors and avoid faults that can cause problems with fuel delivery, uneven engine operation, or other running issues.

Injector connectors are relevant both when replacing worn or damaged connectors and when building a new wiring loom for engine swaps, programmable engine management, or custom-built engine projects. In the engine bay, electrical connections are exposed to high demands, which is why correct fitment, secure locking, and materials that can withstand heat, vibration, and load are important qualities.

The most common types include USCAR, EV6, and EV14, which are often used on Bosch and Injector Dynamics injectors. The connectors are supplied with sealing rubber and crimp pins, typically have 7 A per pin, and are IP67-rated against moisture and dust. Adapters are also available, allowing older Jetronic/EV1 connectors to be converted to EV6/EV14 without modifying the wiring loom.

If your car uses Injector Dynamics USCAR connectors, you can also choose EV14, as it is the same connector under two different names.
