Cable ties

Cable ties are suitable for installing and fastening heat shield products. This can, for example, be for heat shield tape, heat shield foil, heat-protective sleeves, cover wraps and other solutions where a simple and practical fastening method is needed in high-heat areas.

When working with heat protection in the engine bay, around the turbo, manifold, downpipe and exhaust, it is important to choose a fastening method that suits the purpose. Standard cable ties are not always suitable close to high temperatures, and that is why cable ties for heat shield are typically used in builds where they need to keep protective materials, sleeves or shielding in place in heat-exposed areas.

They can be used to secure and hold heat-protective products around wires, hoses, cables and smaller components where extra protection against radiant heat is needed. In many cases, they are a simple solution when you want to make sure the material stays correctly in place without making larger brackets or more extensive mounting solutions.

Cable ties for heat shield are typically used in engine bays and other areas where heat protection needs to be kept in place around sensitive parts. This can be around wiring looms, vacuum hoses, fuel hoses, oil hoses, ignition wires or other components that run close to the turbo, manifold, exhaust or downpipe. They are also often used to secure the ends of heat-protective sleeves and wraps so that the material does not slip or open during use. In performance and motorsport builds, this is especially relevant because vibration, heat and limited space place greater demands on keeping everything properly secured.
