Double threaded bolts

Double threaded bolts are used in applications where threads are needed at both ends, often with different dimensions, so a component can be mounted securely between two parts or adapted from one thread size to another. They are suitable for tasks where a standard bolt is not the right solution and where a more fixed, stable and technically correct installation is required.

In many engine and exhaust projects, double threaded bolts are used for mounting components such as manifolds, brackets, hangers, heat shields, turbo-related parts and other components where fixed threaded mounting points are needed. They can also be relevant in custom builds and general workshop tasks where a part needs to be mounted with different thread sizes at each end, or where the construction requires a more flexible solution than a standard bolt.

In some contexts, double threaded bolts are also referred to as threaded studs or step studs, depending on their design and application.
