Quick release

Quick release for steering wheels is used as a removable connection between the steering wheel hub and the steering wheel. It makes it possible to quickly remove and refit the steering wheel, which is especially practical in motorsport, trackday, drift and race cars with roll cages, bucket seats or limited space around the driver’s position. A quick release system can make entry and exit easier while also giving a more flexible driver setup.

The most important thing is that the system fits correctly with both steering wheel, steering wheel hub and bolt pattern.

When choosing a quick release, it is important to choose a solution with minimal play, secure locking and correct fitment. Too much play in the steering wheel can give poorer steering feel and less precise control, especially during active driving.
