Wheel studs M12x1.5 in 78 mm length for conversion from wheel bolts to wheel studs. A stud conversion makes wheel changes faster and easier, as the wheel can be guided directly onto the studs during installation. Ideal for motorsport, track use, frequent wheel changes and vehicles running wheel spacers.
These 78 mm wheel studs are suitable for vehicles using up to 30 mm wheel spacers. They may also be used with smaller spacers or without spacers depending on wheel design, wheel nut type and required thread engagement.
The studs must be installed into the wheel hub using thread locker such as Loctite 243 or similar medium-strength thread locker. Each stud should be torqued to 25 Nm during installation. Wheel nuts must be tightened according to the vehicle manufacturer's original wheel bolt torque specification. After approximately 80-100 km of driving, wheel nut torque should be checked and re-tightened if necessary.
