ACL conrod bearings VAG 1.4/1.6/1.8/2.0 STD

ACL Race conrod bearings for a wide range of Audi and Volkswagen 4-cylinder petrol engines with standard crankshaft. ACL Race Series is developed for tuning, motorsport and performance engines where higher demands are placed on load capacity, heat dissipation and reliability than with standard bearings. The bearings are often used for engine rebuilds, turbo conversions and high-output engine builds.

ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings are manufactured from high-strength F781 tri-metal material with hardened steel backing, copper/lead alloy and durable overlay coating. The material selection, heat transfer and oil distribution are developed to ensure a stable oil film and high load capacity at high rpm and under demanding operating conditions.

The 4B1606H series is supplied with identical bearing halves and standard oil clearance. The bearings also have a 1.65 millimetre oil hole at the crown, which contributes to correct oil supply. Correct measurement of crankshaft, connecting rod and oil clearance is always recommended for optimal reliability and service life.
