ACL Race connecting rod bearings for VAG 4-cylinder 1.4L, 1.6L, 1.8L and 2.0L engines with crankshaft ground 0.25 millimetres undersize. ACL Race Series is developed for tuning, performance and motorsport, where the bearings are exposed to higher loads, higher RPM and greater demands on load capacity and reliability than standard bearings.
ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings are made from high-strength F781 trimetal material with hardened steel backing, copper/lead alloy and a durable overlay coating. The material choice, heat transfer and oil distribution are developed to ensure a stable oil film and high load capacity at high RPM and demanding operating conditions.
4B1606H.25 is the H.25 version, which means the bearings fit a crankshaft that has been ground 0.25 millimetres undersize. It is important not to confuse H.25 with H.025, as H.025 is used for standard crankshafts with reduced oil clearance, while H.25 is for undersize-ground crankshafts.
