Adjustable flow and restrictor valve for hydraulic clutch

Adjustable flow and restrictor valve with bypass for hydraulic clutch systems. The valve is used to reduce stress on the gearbox, driveshafts, propshaft and differential by controlling clutch engagement.

The valve restricts flow in one direction and allows free flow in the opposite direction through the check valve function. This provides slower and more controlled pressure equalisation between the master cylinder and slave cylinder/clutch cylinder, allowing the clutch to create a small controlled slip instead of engaging aggressively immediately.

This is especially relevant for clutch kick, fast gear changes, launch and using the handbrake together with the clutch, where the drivetrain can otherwise be exposed to heavy shock loads. With correct adjustment, the valve can help protect the drivetrain and reduce the risk of broken driveshafts and gearbox damage.

The valve is suitable for both existing hydraulic clutch systems and custom installations where clutch pipes or clutch hoses are made to measure.
