AEM flex fuel sensor kit for measuring ethanol content and fuel temperature in fuel systems for petrol, E85 and flex fuel. The sensor is used with programmable engine management systems, displays and dataloggers, allowing the ECU to automatically adjust fuel, ignition and boost according to the current ethanol percentage in the tank.

Many fuel stations sell fuel labelled as E85, but the actual ethanol percentage can vary significantly depending on climate and season. With a flex fuel sensor, the ECU can continuously read the current ethanol blend and adjust the engine calibration in real time.

This version is supplied with 3/8" hose barb fittings, which approximately fit a 9.5 millimeter fuel hose. 3/8" is often used in AN6 fuel systems, and many therefore use AN6 to 3/8" hard tube adapters when installing the sensor in motorsport and performance fuel systems.

The sensor measures both ethanol percentage and fuel temperature and sends the signal to a compatible ECU or datalogger via a frequency signal. It is suitable for MaxxECU, ECUMaster, AEM Infinity, Haltech, Link ECU and other programmable engine management systems with flex fuel function.

The kit is supplied with flex fuel sensor, 3/8" barb fittings, terminal pins and electrical connector for connection.
