AEM TRU-BoostX – Electronic boost controller – 30-0352
AEM TRU-BoostX 30-0352 is an electronic boost controller and boost gauge combined in one unit. It is designed for turbo cars where you want more precise boost control than with a manual boost controller, while still having a solution that is easy to adjust directly from the gauge without using a laptop. It functions both as a digital boost display and as a boost controller, and all settings are adjusted from the front buttons.
The compact 52 mm X-Series gauge makes it easy to install in most standard gauge pods and housings. The built-in MAP sensor is rated at 80 PSIg, so there is no need for a separate upgrade kit on high boost vehicles. This makes it suitable for both simpler setups and more demanding performance projects.
TRU-BoostX features two separate boost settings, A and B, so you can for example run one lower and one higher boost level depending on your setup. It also includes scramble boost, peak memory, programmable alarms and built-in overboost protection. In addition, the unit is AEMnet CANbus-enabled, allowing data to be transmitted to a compatible ECU or data logger.
This makes it a strong solution for both road cars and performance or motorsport projects where you want a neat 52 mm in-car gauge combined with active electronic boost control. The unit uses switched 12V power and should be mounted in a location where it is not exposed directly to water.
