Aeromotive 10 micron Microglass filter element for ORB-10 fuel filters. This replacement filter element is developed for high-performance fuel systems where efficient filtration and low pressure drop are essential for a stable fuel supply. The Microglass filter media captures very fine particles and protects injectors, regulators and other components on the pressure side of the fuel system.
The filter element fits Aeromotive ORB-10 filter housings with 50.8 millimetre diameter and 139.7 millimetre length, as well as other ORB-10 filter housings with the same dimensions. A new O-ring is included for resealing the filter housing during service or replacement of the filter element.
10 micron filtration is typically used after the fuel pump, where high fuel cleanliness is required before the fuel reaches the injection system. The filter element can be used with petrol, ethanol, methanol and diesel fuels and is suitable for motorsport, tuning and high-performance road cars.
Regular replacement of the filter element helps maintain correct fuel flow and reduces the risk of damage to the fuel pump, injectors and engine caused by contamination in the fuel system.
