The Aeromotive universal return style fuel pressure regulator is designed for high-performance fuel systems where precise fuel pressure control is essential. The regulator is suitable for both EFI and carburettor fuel systems and is ideal for motorsport, drag racing, circuit racing, off-road applications and custom-built vehicles using electric or mechanical fuel pumps.
The universal bypass design provides stable and accurate fuel pressure by returning excess fuel to the tank. The regulator features three 3/8" NPT ports, offering excellent flexibility when installing new or existing fuel systems.
Fuel pressure is adjustable from 3 to 20 PSI using the installed standard spring. The included high-pressure spring extends the adjustment range to 20-60 PSI, making the regulator suitable for both carburettor and EFI applications. The integrated 1:1 vacuum/boost reference ensures that fuel pressure follows manifold pressure, maintaining a constant pressure differential under both vacuum and boost conditions.
The regulator is designed for fuel pumps with flow capacities from approximately 100 to 250 GPH and is compatible with petrol, E85, ethanol, methanol and diesel. The housing is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and features a hard-anodised, PTFE-impregnated finish for excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding motorsport environments.
The regulator is supplied complete with a mounting bracket, vacuum fitting, and both standard and high-pressure springs, allowing it to be adapted to a wide range of fuel systems.
