This round aluminium fuel cap is developed for fuel tanks, fuel cells and custom-built fuel systems where a robust and functional filler solution is required. The 55 millimetre filler opening makes it possible to use the fuel cap with a suitable fuel hose if remote filling or integration into a custom-built fuel system is required.
The fuel cap is equipped with a vent screw, which helps with pressure equalisation in the tank. Sealing is handled by a Viton O-ring, which is resistant to petrol, diesel, E85 and many types of motorsport fuel. Both gasket and mounting bolts are included, so the unit is ready for installation.
