Audi/SEAT/Škoda/Volkswagen 3D camber plates are used as adjustable front shock absorber top mounts for cars with coilover suspension. The kit is developed for adjusting both camber and caster, so the front axle geometry can be adapted more precisely for drift, track day, motorsport and performance driving.
Camber plates make it possible to change the wheel angle, while caster adjustment can help improve directional stability, steering response and steering wheel self-centring. The kit has an adjustment range of ∓ 3° and lowers the car by approximately 6 millimeter compared to the original suspension.
The main plate and bearing plate are made from aluminium, providing a strong and lightweight construction for demanding use. The kit is built with a Fluro uniball in size 14 x 28 x 19, giving a more direct and precise connection between the shock absorber and the body. The firmer construction gives sharper suspension response, but may also increase noise, vibration and harshness compared to original rubber top mounts.
