Banjo: black

All our banjo bolts and banjo eyes are made of aluminium with an anodised surface treatment in several colours, which not only looks really good, but also helps provide the aluminium with optimal corrosion protection. Remember that two sealing washers must be used for each banjo bolt or banjo eye. Do not use ordinary copper washers for aluminium AN fittings, as copper and aluminium do not work well together and can cause corrosion on the aluminium.

Banjo bolts are available with several thread types, both metric and UNF.

Examples: M8x1 or M8x1.25. The first number is the diameter in millimetres. The last number is the thread pitch per turn.

Examples: 7/16"-20 UNF or 7/16"-24 UNF. The first number is the diameter in inches. The last number is the number of threads per inch.

As the difference between the two types with the same diameter is very small, it may be an advantage to measure the thread before ordering. You can use our thread chart to determine which type you need.
