Adjustable lollipops for BMW E30 and E36. This replacement part is used as a replacement for steering angle and steering lock kits and is supplied as a set of two adjustable lollipops, one for each side.
The control arms are used to adjust the wheel position in the wheel arch, which is especially important on cars with increased steering angle, steering lock kit or drift setup. With correct adjustment, the front wheel position can be optimised to provide better clearance, more controlled geometry and better function at large steering inputs.
This type of adjustable lollipop is relevant for drift, trackday and motorsport, where standard suspension geometry is often not sufficient. They are especially used on cars where increased steering angle, changed caster/camber setup, coilovers or wider wheel setups are used.
When installing on BMW E30 or E36, the hexagonal end of the front control arm must be reworked into a round Ø20 millimetre cylinder so the lollipops can be installed correctly.
