BMW E36/E46 Expansion Tank Kit
This expansion tank kit is designed for BMW E36 and E46 when installing one of our aluminium radiators. The kit allows you to relocate or mount the expansion tank in a different position within the engine bay, which is often necessary in motorsport builds or engine conversions with larger intake manifolds, turbo systems, or charge pipes.
Since many E36/E46 builds have limited space around the radiator, this kit provides the flexibility to place the expansion tank where it best fits your setup. You will need to fabricate your own bracket for the tank, allowing it to be mounted exactly where it suits your installation.
The kit includes the required fittings and hoses for a clean and professional installation.

Hose: 1 meter Push-On hose 7.9 mm / AN5
Silicone caps: Black 8 mm for closing unused overflow ports
Radiator bottom outlet: Press fitting AN6 120°
Adapter: AN6 male to 1/4" NPT male nipple fitting in black aluminium
