BMW E46 skid plate

BMW E46 skid plate for protecting the oil pan, underside of the engine and underbody during drifting, track days, motorsport and use on lowered cars. The plate functions as a strong sump guard and helps protect against impacts from curbs, uneven surfaces, stones and contact with the ground.

This model fits BMW E46 across engine variants and body types. It is therefore suitable for road cars, drift cars, track cars and custom-built BMW E46 models where extra protection under the car is important.

The sump guard plate is made from 3 millimetre Domex 700, a strong and wear-resistant material with high resistance to load and abrasion. The construction is also combined with a lower X-brace, made from flat oval tubing measuring 40 x 20 millimetres with a 3 millimetre wall thickness.

The X-brace construction provides extra stiffening underneath the car and makes the product more than just a simple oil pan cover plate. It is a combined underbody protection plate and lower brace, relevant for harder driving, lowered cars and motorsport.

The product is CNC-machined and TIG-welded for precise fitment and strong construction.
