This steering lock kit for BMW E46 is developed specifically for drift, where increased steering angle, faster steering response and more control at high wheel angles are required. The kit is made for setups where a more direct and aggressive steering feel is important, and where standard geometry is not enough.
The kit is manufactured from high-strength steel alloy with focus on strength, precision and durability. The forged ball joints are CNC precision-machined for accurate fitment and stable function. The surface is powder-coated for extra protection against rust and wear over time.
The track width is increased by 50 millimetres on each side, and the steering angle is increased up to 70°, giving significantly more lock than standard. At the same time, the steering ratio is made approximately 40% faster, so the car reacts more directly to steering input. This makes the kit especially suitable for drift, where quick steering and large steering angle are essential.
All brackets, bolts and other mounting parts in the kit are manufactured from high-quality steel for high strength and long service life.
