This set of four BMW E46/E46 M3/Z4 E85/Z4 E86/Z4M aluminium rear subframe bushings is used to mount the rear subframe more firmly and directly to the body. They replace the original rubber bushings and reduce movement between the rear subframe and chassis.

Aluminium rear subframe bushings are especially relevant for drift, trackday, motorsport and performance builds where a more precise rear axle, more stable wheel geometry under load and more direct response from the suspension are desired.

As the bushings are solid and do not dampen like original rubber bushings, they will typically result in more noise, vibration and harshness in the car. They are therefore best suited for track use, motorsport and special builds rather than comfort-oriented road use.
