Steering angle kit for BMW E81, E82, E87, E88, E90, E91, E92 and E93. The kit is developed for drift and motorsport where increased steering angle, more steering lock and more precise control of the car at large steering inputs are required.
The kit changes the front steering geometry and provides up to 68° steering angle. This makes the car easier to hold in controlled drift, allows faster corrections and improves steering response during hard driving.
The kit is designed to fit the car’s original chassis mounting points, making it a well-developed solution for BMW E81, E82, E87, E88, E90, E91, E92 and E93. It is relevant for drift cars, trackday cars and motorsport cars where standard steering geometry and standard steering angle are not sufficient.
The components are made from steel and aluminium with CNC machining for high precision and strength. The surfaces are powder-coated or galvanised for better corrosion resistance, and rubber bushings are replaced with spherical bearings for a more direct and responsive feel in the front suspension.
The kit allows adjustment of the front suspension setup and is developed for quick changes and precise setup. It provides approximately -5.5° camber and 6.5° caster, raises the roll centre and helps reduce body roll, improving front wheel grip and vehicle stability during drift.
The kit is compatible with 17" to 19" wheels and requires a minimum inner wheel diameter of 400 millimetres for correct clearance around the components. Coilovers are required for installation.
The kit is supplied with lower control arms, tie rod spacers, steering knuckles, hardware and installation instructions.
