Body reinforcements
Body reinforcements are used to make the car’s bodywork stiffer and more stable. This is especially relevant for cars used for motorsport, trackday, drifting, rally or hard road use, where the bodywork is exposed to greater loads than during normal driving.
A stiffer body can provide more precise steering, better suspension response and a more stable car during acceleration, braking and cornering. It can also be relevant when building cars with a more powerful engine, stiffer suspension, wider tyres or another motorsport setup.
The choice of body reinforcement depends on the car model, use and how extensive the build needs to be. For motorsport, correct reinforcement can be an important part of a strong and reliable build.
