2200cc Bosch NGI2 injector for extreme performance and motorsport engines with very high fuel demand. The injector is typically used for large turbo engines, petrol and natural gas builds where very high flow capacity and stable fuel delivery at high boost pressure are required.
The injector is a Bosch 2200cc NGI2 injector, originally developed for natural gas (CNG / CH4), but it can also be used with petrol in performance and motorsport builds. The injector is known for high flow capacity and stable fuel delivery under high load.
This Bosch EV14S injector type has standard length and can be used with a bottom adapter to achieve EV14L long length. This makes the injector flexible for different fuel rail and intake setups where the installation length must fit correctly.
When used with petrol, the injector can be calculated to support approximately 290 horsepower per cylinder. The injector was originally developed for natural gas, where flow is normally stated as mass flow in kg/h instead of hp per cylinder. Natural gas flow is stated at approximately 7.7 kg CH4 per hour. The figures are indicative and based on turbo engines with approximately 90% duty cycle.
Note:
Correct tuning and injector data in the engine management system are required when using large injectors like these. Always check connector type, length and compatibility with the fuel rail and intake before installation.
Note:
This injector is made for natural gas (CNG) and is generally not compatible with E85 or other alcohol-based fuels.
