Bosch 280cc fuel injector for engines where an original Bosch injector with stable fuel atomisation, good reliability and moderate flow capacity is required. The injector is suitable for smaller petrol engines, standard engines and mild tuning where a 280cc injector matches the engine’s fuel demand.
With EV14L long body, 14 millimetre Viton O-rings and Bosch JPT EV1 Minitimer Jetronic connector, the injector is easy to use in many setups where a classic EV1 connector and top-feed mounting are used.
When used on petrol, the injector can be calculated to approximately 37 horsepower per cylinder, while on E85 it can be calculated to approximately 32 horsepower per cylinder. E85 typically requires more fuel volume than petrol for the same power output, which means the possible output per injector is lower on E85. The figures are indicative and based on turbo engines with approximately 90% duty cycle.
