ECU Master - Classic

ECUMASTER EMU Classic is an advanced standalone engine management system for those who want a flexible ECU with many built-in functions and strong value for money. It has been developed as an improved version of the popular EMU and continues to use the same firmware and software platform, but with several important hardware improvements. ECUMASTER highlights improved ignition outputs, a separate +5V regulator for external sensors, better protected H-Bridges, a galvanically isolated USB port and a more compact CNC-machined aluminium enclosure.

EMU Classic is designed to control fuel, ignition and auxiliary systems on engines from 1 to 12 cylinders. It can be used for everything from simple projects to more advanced setups with VVT, flex fuel, launch control, lambda control, traction control and a wide range of motorsport functions. The system also supports many trigger wheel patterns and is therefore suitable for both older engine projects and newer engines where greater freedom and adjustability are required.

One of the major strengths of the EMU Classic is that it has many functions built directly into the ECU, which often require external modules on other systems. It features a built-in wideband lambda input for Bosch LSU 4.2, a built-in 4 bar MAP sensor, 2 EGT inputs and the ability to connect a flex fuel ethanol sensor directly. It can also drive up to 6 passive coils or 12 smart coils directly, which reduces the need for extra boxes and makes installation simpler on many projects.

EMU Classic is therefore a strong choice for tuning, motorsport, conversions and custom-built cars where a reliable and proven ECU with many options is required. Its compact size makes it easier to mount in the vehicle, and the free software provides access to extensive setup, logging and adjustment. It is important to note, however, that drive-by-wire and CAN bus require external modules.
