This EGR Removal / Delete Kit is designed for Volkswagen R5 2.5 TDI engines and replaces the original EGR valve with a solid bypass solution. The purpose is to eliminate exhaust gas recirculation, reducing carbon build-up in the intake system and ensuring a more stable and consistent airflow to the engine. The kit is manufactured from stainless steel and engineered for maximum durability under demanding conditions.
This solution is typically used for motorsport or vehicles not operated on public roads. On older models, fault codes will usually not appear, while newer models may require ECU modification to operate without warning lights.

Note
On models up to approximately 2002–2004, no ECU warning light will normally appear. On later models with pneumatic or electronic EGR valves, installation may trigger a warning light on the dashboard. An ECU remap is therefore recommended to completely remove the EGR function, carried out by a professional tuner.
