EGT connectors

EGT connectors are used for installing Exhaust Gas Temperature sensors and provide a stable electrical connection between the sensor and the engine management, display, or datalogging system. They are relevant in both standard road cars, tuning projects, and motorsport, where it is important to measure exhaust gas temperature accurately under load.

Because EGT sensors operate in an environment with high temperatures, vibration, and exposure from the exhaust system, it is important to use connectors designed for demanding conditions. EGT connectors are therefore typically built to withstand heat, moisture, corrosion, and mechanical wear, so the signal from the sensor remains stable and reliable. This helps ensure accurate temperature readings, which is important both for monitoring and for engine tuning.

EGT connectors are often available as 1-pin or 2-pin solutions depending on the sensor and setup. Many variants are supplied with sealing rubber and heat-resistant pins, making the installation more durable in the engine bay and around exhaust components. This makes them well suited for turbo and performance engines, motorsport, diesel tuning, aftermarket EGT gauges, and ECU installations where high demands are placed on signal quality and reliability.
