This 1.5-litre fuel surge tank is developed for fuel systems where a more stable fuel supply is required for tuning, motorsport and larger fuel setups. The tank can be used with a 044 fuel pump and similar fuel pumps with corresponding dimensions, making it suitable for projects where a more stable fuel flow is required under load.
A fuel surge tank helps ensure that the fuel pump always has access to fuel, even during acceleration, braking and cornering load. This reduces the risk of fuel starvation and provides a more stable supply to the engine fuel system.
The tank is made from aluminium and has AN8 threads at both the top and bottom. It can also be built for use with 2 fuel pumps if extra capacity is required to build fuel pressure towards the fuel rail.
