This 4 litre fuel surge tank is designed for fuel systems with space for 2 Bosch 044 or similar fuel pumps. The solution is suitable for tuning, motorsport, drift and drag racing, where stable fuel pressure is required during hard driving.
The surge tank helps ensure that the fuel pumps always have access to fuel, even when the fuel in the main tank moves during acceleration, braking and cornering loads. This reduces the risk of fuel starvation and provides a more stable supply to the engine’s fuel system.
The system can supply fuel for setups up to approximately 1000 hp, depending on pumps, fuel pressure, injectors, regulator, hose dimensions and the complete fuel setup.
The tank features 3 AN6 O-ring threaded ports, typically used for feed from the original fuel tank or fuel cell, return to the original tank and return flow from the fuel rail. Fittings are included.
