This full flow flex fuel sensor adapter is designed for installing ethanol and flex fuel sensors in high-performance fuel systems. The adapter features a bypass/split-flow design that allows a flex fuel sensor to be integrated into an AN10 fuel system with minimal flow restriction.
Many standard flex fuel and ethanol sensors have limited internal flow capacity, which can create a restriction in fuel systems with high flow requirements. The adapter's internal bypass channel directs a large portion of the fuel around the sensor, while part of the flow passes through the sensor to measure the ethanol content.
The large internal bypass channel is designed for high flow capacity, making the adapter suitable for AN10 fuel systems. It can be used on both the pressure and return side of the fuel system and is particularly suitable for performance and motorsport applications with high fuel flow requirements.
The adapter is manufactured from lightweight aluminium and comes with an integrated, removable mounting bracket and Viton O-rings. AN10 ORB threads at both ends allow flexible installation with suitable ORB fittings.
