GFB FX-S 8051 is a high-performance, adjustable EFI fuel pressure regulator developed as a direct replacement for original Bosch clip-in fuel pressure regulators. It installs directly into the factory fuel rail without the need for adapters or an external regulator, making it ideal when upgrading to higher-capacity fuel pumps and high-performance EFI fuel systems. The regulator offers more than twice the flow capacity of original Bosch regulators, allowing larger fuel pumps to be used without replacing the factory fuel rail.
The internal high-flow design ensures stable fuel pressure at idle, part throttle, and full load. The integrated 1:1 vacuum/boost reference keeps fuel pressure matched to manifold pressure, maintaining a constant pressure differential across the fuel injectors. The dual fibre-reinforced diaphragm has a burst strength exceeding 1,000 PSI, while the soft Teflon valve seat with a stainless steel valve helps retain fuel pressure after engine shutdown for easier restarting. The regulator is compatible with gasoline, E85, ethanol, and methanol.
Fuel pressure is infinitely adjustable from 20 to 72 PSI (approximately 1.4–5.0 bar), depending on the fuel pump capacity and the factory return system. The O-ring sealed adjustment mechanism eliminates vacuum and boost leaks while providing precise and easy fuel pressure adjustment.
GFB FX-S 8051 is supplied with a 1/8" NPT port for a fuel pressure gauge or sensor, a 1/16" NPT vacuum port, plus the required O-rings and a blanking plug. The regulator is fully serviceable and designed for long service life under demanding motorsport conditions.
