About FIA approval
FIA-approved harnesses are tested according to the international standard FIA 8853-2016, which sets strict requirements for strength, durability and energy absorption in the event of an accident. This standard ensures that the harness can withstand extreme forces and provides optimal protection during competitive motorsport. Each harness carries an official FIA homologation label and must be installed in accordance with the FIA technical regulations (Appendix J, Articles 253/283).

FIA 8853-2016 is the latest international safety standard for motorsport harnesses. It sets strict requirements for strength, durability and performance under extreme conditions. FIA approval is valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture plus the year of production and is required for competitions held under FIA regulations, including rally, drifting, circuit and endurance racing.
