The hose is a crucial part of the complete solution, because it must be able to handle the medium it is used for while also fitting correctly with the fittings, adapters and the rest of the system. The choice of hose has a major impact on how reliable and durable the system becomes. This is especially relevant if you are working with E85, methanol or other solutions where the choice of material matters even more. It is recommended to use PTFE for all types of fuel! However, this is not necessary for diesel.
