This 1682 cc low impedance fuel injector is suitable for EFI fuel systems with very high fuel demands and heavily modified engines. The injector has a flow capacity of 160 lbs/hr and is designed for high-power applications where a large and stable fuel supply is required.
The injector can be used with both gasoline and E85. Its high flow capacity makes it particularly suitable for turbocharged engines and motorsport applications with high fuel demands. At a 90% duty cycle, the injector can support up to approximately 224 hp per cylinder on gasoline and approximately 194 hp per cylinder on E85. The actual power capacity depends on factors including fuel pressure, engine setup and the required fuel volume.
With an impedance of 2.0 ohms, the injector is designed for 4/1A peak and hold injector drivers. It is therefore important to ensure that the engine management system or injector driver being used is compatible with low impedance injectors before installation.
The injector features a Jetronic/Minitimer electrical connector and is supplied with O-rings. Its high flow capacity and E85 compatibility make it suitable for performance and motorsport applications where the physical dimensions, fuel system and electrical control are compatible.
