IRP steering angle kit V2 for BMW E30. The kit is developed for drift and motorsport where increased steering angle, more steering lock, stronger front suspension and better control at large steering inputs are required.
The kit changes the front-end steering geometry and makes it possible to achieve up to approx. 70° steering angle. This gives the car more steering lock than standard and makes it easier to keep the car in a controlled slide, correct faster and drive more aggressively in drift.
V2 is a lighter version of IRP’s drift kit and is built with focus on low weight, high strength and precise geometry. The kit increases the track width by approx. 65 millimetres per side, giving approx. 130 millimetres of total extra width on the front axle. This gives better clearance for larger wheels and can help with stability and grip during drift.
The control arms are made from high-strength chromoly steel and use motorsport spherical bearings. The kit also includes camber plates, caster adjusters, tie rods and hub add-ons, allowing the front end to be adjusted more precisely than with original parts.
This drift kit is intended for race use. During installation, adjustment of the car’s front-end setup, wheels, wings and suspension may be required. After installation, the car must always be correctly wheel-aligned and adjusted.
The kit includes:
2 x chromoly control arms
2 x caster adjusters/lollipops
2 x tie rods
2 x camber plates
2 x hub add-ons
Required nuts, washers and bolts for installation
