Loctite 270 is a strong, green threadlocker for permanent locking and sealing of bolts, nuts and threaded rods. It is suitable for metal threads where the joint must not loosen due to vibration, impact or load.

The product is typically used for engines, gearboxes, machine parts, motorsport, workshop use and other demanding assembly tasks where maximum retention is important. Loctite 270 cures anaerobically when enclosed between close-fitting metal surfaces without air.

Loctite 270 can be used on most metals, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium and coated surfaces. It has good temperature resistance and tolerates minor oil contamination on the thread, but surfaces should always be cleaned as well as possible before assembly.
