LS oil galley barbell plug kit for GM LS Gen III and Gen IV engines. This kit is commonly used during engine rebuilds, performance upgrades and motorsport applications where a more reliable oiling system is required compared to the original plastic components.
The kit includes a billet oil galley barbell that replaces the factory plastic oil gallery diverter. It helps maintain proper oil flow within the engine block and is a popular upgrade for LS engines, as the original plastic component can become worn, damaged or loose over time.
Also included are an oil pan bypass delete plug and a pickup tube brace. The pickup tube brace provides additional support for the oil pickup tube and helps reduce the risk of oil pressure issues caused by movement or sealing problems at the pickup tube connection.
Suitable for most GM LS Gen III and Gen IV engines, including many 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L and 7.0L LS engines. Not suitable for Gen V LT engines.
