Nuke Performance Fuel Surge Tank 3.0 litres is developed for high-performance street cars and motorsport, where stable fuel supply is critical under extreme load. The surge tank effectively reduces the risk of fuel starvation during hard acceleration, braking and cornering forces, where the original fuel tank may struggle to deliver a constant fuel flow.
The tank can be configured with either one or two internal fuel pumps and is designed to support very high power levels. The internal billet aluminium pump holder ensures robust and vibration-safe mounting of the pumps directly inside the tank. With a dual-pump setup, the pumps can be activated together or individually via separate electrical connections.
The surge tank is developed for the Nuke Performance GST series and fits directly with 1–2 Walbro GST400, GST450 and GST520 fuel pumps. The design also supports most common 39 millimetre fuel pumps without requiring modifications. This includes DeatschWerks DW200, DW300 and DW400, AEM 340, Aeromotive 340 and larger pumps such as Bosch BR540.
An external surge tank makes it possible to use high-performance in-tank fuel pumps without extensive modifications to the original fuel tank. Return fuel from the engine is routed back to the surge tank, helping to keep the tank constantly filled under high G-loads. The solution is suitable for drifting, drag racing, time attack and trackdays, where loads above 2G can occur.
The tank is made from aluminium and uses ORB threads for maximum flexibility. The outlet is AN-10 ORB and combines the flow from both pumps into one common fuel line. Inlet, return and overflow are AN-8 ORB, offering great flexibility when choosing fittings and hoses.
Note:
Fuel pumps are not included and are sold separately. AN fittings for inlet, return, overflow and outlet are also not included and must be selected separately according to the desired fuel system. The surge tank can be configured with either one or two internal pumps depending on power target and fuel demand.
