This Oil Catch Tank System Kit is developed for EA888 Gen 1 and Gen 2 2.0 TFSI engines with engine codes CCTA and CBFA. The kit is a complete solution for those who want to bypass the original PCV system while keeping the intake system cleaner over time. It is especially relevant on turbo engines, where blow-by gases often carry oil, fuel vapour, and condensation back through the intake system.

The system is designed as a recirculating solution, meaning it maintains a closed system while still supporting emissions-related function. At the same time, the catch tank captures the oil mist and vapours that would otherwise be routed back into the engine and potentially contribute to deposits in the intake and on the intake valves. The result is more controlled crankcase ventilation and better conditions for stable long-term engine performance.

On turbocharged engines, the original PCV system can draw a noticeable amount of oil into the intake. With this kit, unwanted vapours and fluids are separated and collected in the tank instead, where they can later be drained. This helps reduce oil contamination in the intake system and can be beneficial for both standard engines and upgraded setups.
