Ray race exhaust for Opel Ascona B and Manta B. The system is developed for motorsport and performance builds where low resistance and maximum flow are prioritised over comfort and noise level. With a pipe diameter of 63.5 millimetres, the system provides significantly better flow than the original exhaust systems and is suitable for modified engines with increased power.
The system is designed with a focus on extra-low back pressure, helping the engine use its power more efficiently at high loads and RPM. The larger diameter makes the system especially suitable for historic motorsport, rally, track use and heavily modified CIH engines.
The Ray series is Simons' motorsport programme and differs from ordinary Simons sports exhausts by being developed specifically for racing. The system has a significantly higher noise level than a standard sports exhaust system, as it is designed with focus on low resistance and high flow rather than noise reduction and comfort. This gives a more raw and direct motorsport sound suitable for track use, rally and performance builds.
