RRS Prolight Black Racing Boots - FIA 8856-2018

The RRS Prolight racing boots are designed to provide maximum comfort, flexibility, and pedal sensitivity. Fully FIA 8856-2018 approved, they are made from soft genuine leather that completely envelops the foot for a perfect anatomical fit and superior comfort.

The profiled shape adapts to the foot for better support, while the rigid reinforced heel cup and raised rear sole ensure excellent stability. The rear section is cut out to provide free ankle movement during intense driving sessions.

The thin bi-material sole offers outstanding pedal feel and is both shock-absorbing and hydrocarbon-resistant, giving precise and controlled contact with the pedals.

Its ergonomic construction with edge-to-edge gluing prevents snagging and keeps the boot light and streamlined. The lacing extends up the instep and is finished with a Velcro ankle strap for secure fastening.

Additional malleolus (ankle) protection is provided by a padded strap. The interior is fully lined with aramid, ensuring flame resistance and compliance with the latest FIA 8856-2018 safety standard.
