This anti-defenestration safety net is developed for motorsport and is used to keep the driver’s arms and hands inside the cockpit in the event of an accident or rollover. The safety net is mounted on the roll cage and is used in a wide range of motorsport disciplines where extra driver protection is required or recommended.
The net is made from strong, high-strength nylon straps and is supplied complete with five mounting straps. The construction provides secure fastening to the cage and makes it possible to adapt the installation to different vehicle types and roll cage designs.
With an overall size of 50 x 70 centimetres, the net fits many track cars, rally cars and custom-built motorsport vehicles. The net openings are designed in accordance with current FIA dimensions for this type of safety net, but it is not officially FIA approved.
Safety nets are used in rallycross, circuit racing, supertourisme and other competitions where driver safety requirements apply. Always check the applicable rules for the relevant class or series before installation.
