Sensor bushings

Sensor bushings are used for mounting sensors in pipes, tanks, exhaust systems and other technical installations where a fixed threaded point is needed for measurement. They are typically used for lambda sensors, wideband lambda, EGT sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors and other measuring sensors.

The sensor bushing is normally welded into the downpipe, manifold, front pipe or exhaust pipe. The sensor is then screwed into the bushing. This provides a tight and stable installation, allowing the sensor to measure the exhaust gases correctly.

When choosing a sensor bushing, it is important to check thread type, material, length, diameter and whether the bushing fits the sensor to be mounted. Correct installation is important for sealing, durability and precise measurements, especially in systems with heat, pressure, vibrations or aggressive liquids and gases.
