Siemens Deka 875cc fuel injector for tuning, turbo engines and motorsport where high flow capacity, good reliability and stable fuel delivery are required. The injector is high impedance and can therefore be used with most modern engine management systems without changing the injector outputs.
The injector has a Bosch EV1 connector, classic top-feed mounting and typically fits many European engines using a standard Bosch-type injector. However, it does not fit directly in all Japanese engines without checking length, connector type and O-ring dimensions.
When used on petrol, the injector can be calculated to approximately 115 horsepower per cylinder, while on E85 it can be calculated to approximately 99 horsepower per cylinder. E85 typically requires more fuel volume than petrol for the same power output, which means the possible output per injector is lower on E85. The figures are indicative and based on turbo engines with approximately 90% duty cycle.
The injector can be supplied flow matched within 3%. With flow matching, delivery time may be approximately 3 days longer if we do not already have a flow matched set in stock.
Continental injectors are the direct continuation of the former Siemens Deka series. Siemens stopped production of Siemens Deka injectors long ago, and the product line was subsequently taken over by Continental, which now produces these injectors in its own factories. The injectors are 1:1 replacements for the original Siemens Deka, meaning they are identical in terms of fitment and performance. If an engine or ECU software is already calibrated for Siemens Deka, these injectors can therefore be used without requiring software changes.
