Silicone intake hose for BMW E46 325i, 330ci and BMW Z3 with 2.5L or 3.0L engine. The hose is used as an air inlet / intake pipe between the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body and can be used as a replacement for a worn, cracked or leaking original intake hose.
The hose is also suitable for turbo installation, as the silicone construction can handle boost pressure better than a standard original rubber hose. This makes it relevant for turbo conversions, custom intake systems and upgraded BMW M54 setups.
A leaking intake hose can cause unmetered air, rough idle, poor throttle response and incorrect readings from the mass air flow sensor. During installation, always check that the diameter fits both the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body.
